Letsatsi Lekhooa

Letsatsi Lekhooa has more than seven years of experience in technology, climate change, and community development. Currently, Letsatsi is a student at the University of the Free State, where he is pursuing a Master of Science in Climate-Change Adaptation and Mitigation. Letsatsi also is a World Forest Congress mentor for Project Learning Tree Canada; country coordinator for UNITE2030 and the Africa Circular Economy Network; and director of Keep Lesotho Clean, a youth-led initiative. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and a diploma in Climate-Friendly Travel Tourism. Letsatsi has a deep understanding of stakeholder mapping and analysis as well as relationship building. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders he plans to complete his master’s degree and pursue a doctorate in Climate Modeling. Furthermore, he plans to start a consulting organization that will focus on climate change, technology, research, and innovation.
