Revenue Services Lesotho Hosts Tax Compliance Workshop for Manufacturers

Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL), in partnership with the Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC), hosted a joint workshop in Maseru on Friday under the theme “Tax Compliance,” targeting the manufacturing sector. The event aimed to address challenges affecting the investment climate and create a more conducive business environment for manufacturers.
In her opening remarks, RSL Commissioner General, Mrs. Mathabo Mokoko, reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to supporting the manufacturing industry, highlighting its role as a key driver of Lesotho’s economic growth. She encouraged manufacturers to engage openly with RSL and reminded them that all RSL services are provided free of charge.
The workshop provided guidance on tax obligations, compliance procedures, and available support systems. Participants received practical advice on managing tax responsibilities while leveraging incentives designed to promote business growth.
By fostering dialogue between RSL and manufacturers, the initiative aims to strengthen transparency, enhance compliance, and improve the overall investment climate in Lesotho. The engagement underscores the government’s commitment to supporting the manufacturing sector and driving sustainable economic development.
