Both parties agreed on the value of long-term collaboration to strengthen human rights protection, with a particular focus on marginalized and vulnerable groups.
The meeting reinforced Lesotho’s proactive engagement in international human rights mechanisms and underscored the government’s commitment to improving legal and institutional frameworks to safeguard fundamental rights. The collaboration with the Commonwealth Secretariat is expected to support Lesotho in meeting its international obligations while addressing local capacity constraints.
This engagement signals Lesotho’s dedication to global human rights standards and its strategic approach to international partnerships aimed at sustainable human rights advancement.
