Lesotho Athletes Shine at 2025 Hollywoodbets Durban 10km Run

Lesotho athletes Kamohelo Mofolo and Olympian Neheng Khatala delivered standout performances at the 2025 Hollywoodbets Durban 10km run on Saturday, achieving podium finishes and national records.
Mofolo, 19, won the men’s race in 27:57, breaking the course record and earning M37,500 in prize money. His performance surpassed the previous record of 28:01 set by Kabelo Mulaudzi in 2023 and improved on his own 2024 result of 28:09, when he placed third.
In the women’s race, Olympian Khatala finished second, setting a new Lesotho national record of 31:43 and securing M30,000. Her performance demonstrates continued progress at international competitions and reinforces her status as one of Lesotho’s top long-distance runners.
The achievements of Mofolo and Khatala highlight Lesotho’s growing presence in regional and international athletics. Their results reflect disciplined training, strong competitive spirit, and the potential for future successes on the global stage.
