Lesotho Strengthens Regional Ties as Minister Mpotjoane Attends SADC Council of Ministers Meeting

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations of Lesotho, Hon. Lejone Mpotjoane, represented the Kingdom at the recent Southern African Development Community (SADC) Council of Ministers meeting. The session highlighted regional collaboration, policy alignment, and strategic planning for the member states.

During the meeting, Madagascar assumed the leadership role of the SADC Council of Ministers. This transition marks a key moment in the bloc’s governance, as the Council plays a central role in coordinating policy decisions, monitoring regional initiatives, and providing guidance on socio-economic development priorities.
