Lapeng (meaning ‘home’ in local Sesotho language) is a Bed and Breakfast nestled in a scenic valley in the heart of Roma in the Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho. Our accommodation includes Eight thatched modern styled ensuite traditional huts making a total of Ten rooms. Ideal for backpackers and family groups. Located 31 km (19miles) from our country’s capital Maseru and are en route, 81 km (50miles) to Semonkong home of the beautiful Maletsunyane Falls.

All Rooms and common areas are accessible to guests. Outdoor Braai/BBQ stands and seating area are to be used and enjoyed by all guests.

There are amenities such as small local type Supermarkets stocking basic supplies. Operating hours of these shops are 8 a.m to 7.30 p.m. There are no full fledged restaurants in Roma, most are located 30 mins one way in Maseru. Ready made foods are available nearby 5 mins away, however most if not all cater for local student tastes and budgets and therefore somewhat limited in choice which almost exclusively lean more towards local Fast Food. The shopping Malls- Maseru Mall and Pioneer Mall both have large Supermarkets should you wish to prepare your own meals/snacks in the kitchen.
