Globe Trotters Hosts Tourism Debrief Strengthening Lesotho Italy Partnership

On Sunday, 18 January 2026, Ms. Michelina Gabrie Sanquest hosted a focused tourism engagement that brought together Lions Club members and tourism operators. She leads The Globe Trotters Tourist Operators. The gathering took place as a follow up to a familiarisation tour in Lesotho held in December 2025. About 90 participants attended. These insights encouraged Lions Club members to begin planning visits to Lesotho in 2026.

The Embassy of Lesotho was requested to assist in identifying suitable projects aligned with local needs. This approach aimed to ensure that tourism activities deliver direct social impact.
