Lesotho Officials Ensure Successful Participation at 45th SADC Summit in Madagascar

The Kingdom of Lesotho highlighted the dedication of its senior officials who ensured smooth and coordinated participation at the 45th SADC Summit in Antananarivo, Madagascar. A full week before the arrival of Heads of State and Government, a strong delegation of Lesotho officials was on the ground, working behind the scenes to prepare for the event. Their efforts reflect Lesotho’s commitment to strengthening regional cooperation and advancing SADC’s vision.

Key representatives included Ms Nthoateng Lebona, Principal Secretary of Finance, who provided financial and economic leadership; Mrs Limpho Masilo Motsamai, Deputy Principal Secretary of Foreign Affairs, who ensured diplomatic readiness; Mr Tieho Molise, Director of Regional Integration, who aligned Lesotho’s position within the SADC framework; and Mrs Pulane Ntjantja, SADC National Media Coordinator, who ensured effective communication and visibility of Lesotho’s role.

Other officials included Mr Mpeshe Selebalo, Senior Trade Relations Officer, focusing on trade and economic cooperation, and Mrs ’Mamosa Ramoeletsi, Minister Counsellor in the Directorate of Political Affairs, offering high-level diplomatic guidance.

These officials, supported by professionals from various ministries and agencies, worked as one team to guarantee that Lesotho’s voice was prepared, organised, and ready to contribute meaningfully to regional decisions. Their presence in Madagascar ahead of the Summit reinforced Lesotho’s commitment to active participation and influence within SADC.
