Ministry of Tourism, Sports, Arts and Culture Partners with Afro Media for Gospel Alive Event

The Ministry of Tourism, Sports, Arts and Culture, in collaboration with Afro Media, will host the Gospel Alive event at Manthabiseng Convention Centre in Maseru on October 4, 2025. This marks the first time the Ministry has partnered with Afro Media for such an initiative, aiming to boost local talent and promote cultural engagement.

Ms. Mamolise Falatsa, Communication Manager for the Ministry, confirmed that the Ministry officially endorsed the event. She emphasized that the collaboration aims to support local artists by providing training on tariffs, which has been a recurring challenge for performers in the country.

The Gospel Alive event will feature performances from local gospel artists, offering a platform for talent exposure while encouraging community participation. Ms. Falatsa urged the public to attend the event, highlighting that their support will strengthen the local music industry and empower artists.

The Ministry’s involvement reflects its commitment to promoting arts and culture, enhancing skills development, and ensuring that local artists have opportunities to thrive in Lesotho’s entertainment sector.

Gospel Alive is expected to become an important cultural event, combining music, training, and community engagement to create a lasting impact on the country’s arts and tourism landscape.
