Matseliso Khesa
Mats’eliso Grace Khesa has over three years of experience as a civil litigation lawyer attached to the office of the Attorney-General in Lesotho. She has just resumed work as a Crown Counsel after pursuing and completing a master’s in Women’s Law with the University of Zimbabwe, for which she is currently awaiting her results. She is engaged in a wide range of social activities as a volunteer and active citizen. She is a member of Junior Chamber International (JCI), a global network of young active citizens, and volunteered with a women’s rights organization, Women and Law in Southern Africa Research Trust (WLSA), before she joined government. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Mats’eliso plans to continue her work in the Ministry. She will also to focus on research and consultancy on legal-aid services as a means of advancing the human rights of disadvantaged people.
