Lesotho Receives European Investment Bank Support for Lowlands Water Development Project

The Ministry of Natural Resources has secured financing from the European Investment Bank (EIB) to support the Lesotho Lowlands Water Development Project Phase II Works. This funding will enhance water infrastructure and management in the country, advancing access to clean and reliable water.

According to a ministry statement, part of the funds will be allocated to procure wastewater laboratory testing equipment and related materials. This investment aims to strengthen water quality monitoring, ensuring safe water supply and efficient wastewater management for communities in the lowlands.

The Lesotho Lowlands Water Development Project Phase II focuses on expanding water supply, improving wastewater treatment, and promoting sustainable water management practices.
