Revenue Services Lesotho Hands Over Modern Sports Ablution Facility to LDF Airwing Base

In a significant move to enhance employee well-being, Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL) has officially handed over a state-of-the-art sports ablution facility to the Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) Airwing Base. This initiative marks a milestone in the ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure at military installations, ensuring better amenities for service members.

The newly constructed facility boasts two spacious dressing rooms, each equipped with lockers and benches, along with 12 modern shower rooms and eight toilet rooms. This upgrade is expected to significantly improve the hygiene and comfort of personnel at the Airwing Base, promoting a healthier and more accommodating environment.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, RSL Commissioner General Mrs. Mathabo Mokoko highlighted the significance of the collaboration between RSL and LDF. She noted that the project is a testament to the commitment of both institutions to enhancing employee welfare and fostering a productive work environment.

“Today marks a significant milestone in the partnership between RSL and LDF, aimed at enhancing the well-being of employees from both institutions,” she stated. “This joint effort not only strengthens institutional cooperation but also reinforces our shared commitment to improving facilities that benefit not only the LDF but also all stakeholders who access the LDF grounds.”

The initiative aligns with broader efforts to upgrade military infrastructure and ensure that personnel have access to modern and well-maintained facilities. By investing in such projects, RSL and LDF continue to promote workplace excellence and operational efficiency within their respective institutions.

This development is expected to set a precedent for similar infrastructure projects in the future, further strengthening partnerships that prioritize the well-being of employees and stakeholders alike.
