LeFA Launches CAF Diploma Coaching Course with Renowned Coach Educator Serame Letsoaka

The Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) has announced that celebrated CAF and FIFA Coach Educator, Mr. Serame Letsoaka, will lead the LeFA CAF Diploma Coaching Course starting Tuesday, November 18th, at Bambatha Ts’ita Sports Arena.
Mr. Mikia Kalati, LeFA Media and Communications Manager, confirmed that Mr. Letsoaka will be supported by local CAF-trained coach educator Mr. Naleli Tšilo, who is also a CAF diploma graduate. The course, recognized as the second largest coaching badge on the continent, has attracted 24 coaches from Lesotho and the wider region.
The course officially begins at LeFA headquarters on Tuesday, with the formal opening scheduled for Thursday, November 20th. Participants include high-profile coaches such as Bafana Bafana assistant coach Helman Mkhalele, multiple league-winning coach Mosholu ‘Shoes’ Mokhothu, and Lesotho Girls U20 coach Tjamela Tjamela, who guided Lishoeshoe to the COSAFA Girls U17 Championship final in 2023.
LeFA aims to enhance the quality of coaching in Lesotho through this program, providing participants with advanced tactical knowledge, leadership skills, and practical training techniques aligned with CAF and FIFA standards. The course underscores LeFA’s commitment to developing football talent at all levels in the country and across the region.
