King Letsie III Engages Basotho Community in Addis Ababa to Strengthen Unity

His Majesty Letsie III held a special engagement with Basotho living in Addis Ababa, focusing on fostering community unity and sharing key national updates. The meeting brought together citizens residing abroad to discuss matters affecting the Kingdom of Lesotho and to strengthen cultural and social ties among the diaspora. Among them were the Deputy Prime Minister, Justice Nthomeng Majara; the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, Honourable Lejone Mpotjoane; Principal Secretary Mr Thabang Lekhela; the Ambassador of Lesotho to Ethiopia, Her Excellency Ntšiuoa Sekete; and the Permanent Representative of Lesotho to the United Nations, His Excellency Matete ‘Nena. Their presence highlighted the government’s commitment to engaging with Basotho communities abroad and ensuring that diaspora voices contribute to national conversations. Discussions covered social, cultural and economic topics relevant to citizens living outside the country.
