Vodacom Lesotho Celebrates Top Graduates Driving the Nation’s Digital Transformation

Vodacom Lesotho hosted a graduation ceremony at Vodacom Park to recognise five outstanding graduates from its Software Factory Hub. The event marked a major milestone in the country’s drive toward digital transformation.

The Software Factory Hub, launched as part of Vodacom’s innovation and skills development strategy, aims to nurture young Basotho tech talent and prepare them to lead in the fast-evolving digital economy.

Speaking on behalf of the Ministry of Information, Communications, Science, Technology and Innovation, Principal Secretary Kanono Ramashamole congratulated the graduates for their dedication and achievement. He said their success represents both personal growth and national progress. Ramashamole reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to advancing Lesotho’s digital agenda and identified the graduates as critical contributors to that mission.

Vodacom Lesotho CEO Mohale Ralebitso encouraged the graduates to continue building on their skills and to embrace lifelong learning. He highlighted Vodacom’s focus on results and innovation, urging the graduates to establish their own businesses, create jobs and help strengthen the national economy. He added that entrepreneurship is central to building a sustainable digital ecosystem in Lesotho.

During the ceremony, Vodacom Lesotho presented certificates and cash prizes to the top five graduates. Peiso Media earned first place with a prize of M50,000. Essential Galleria came second with M40,000. TEQ Solutions followed in third with M35,000. Digital Business Consultancy and Nexadeep rounded out the top five, receiving M30,000 and M25,000 respectively.

The ceremony was more than a recognition of achievement. It celebrated innovation, resilience and the growing role of young professionals in shaping Lesotho’s digital future. Through initiatives like the Software Factory Hub, Vodacom Lesotho continues to empower local talent and drive the nation closer to a technology-driven economy.
