Maluti Adventist Hospital Launches Lifestyle Medicine Clinic

Maluti Adventist Hospital has officially launched a Lifestyle Medicine Clinic, fully operational since February 24, 2024. The clinic focuses on natural remedies and holistic wellness, offering Basotho an alternative to conventional pharmaceutical treatments.
According to Alternative Medicine Practitioner Ms. Retšepile Motanyane, the clinic responds to growing public interest in traditional and natural healing, as well as periodic shortages of conventional medication in hospitals.
“We make use of herbs, spices, oils, and water to address various health conditions. Our consultations go beyond symptoms. We examine daily lifestyle choices such as diet, sleep, and stress levels that impact overall wellbeing,” said Motanyane.
The clinic offers a structured approach to health, combining natural remedies with lifestyle assessments. Patients receive guidance on nutrition, exercise, and stress management, ensuring a comprehensive treatment plan.
By integrating traditional healing methods with modern wellness practices, the Lifestyle Medicine Clinic aims to provide sustainable, preventative care. The initiative aligns with a broader shift in Lesotho toward embracing natural health solutions while reducing reliance on conventional medications.
The launch reflects Maluti Adventist Hospital’s commitment to expanding healthcare options, promoting preventive care, and supporting the growing demand for holistic wellness services.
