Likuena Arrives in Durban for Crucial CHAN Match Against Angola

The Lesotho Senior National Team, Likuena, arrived in Durban on Wednesday afternoon to fine-tune their preparations for their crucial TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN) second round, first leg fixture against Angola. The match is scheduled to take place at the iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium this Saturday.

Likuena’s arrival in Durban marks a significant step in their journey to secure a spot in the prestigious tournament, which will be co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda next year. The team is fully focused on the challenge ahead, as they aim to overcome Angola in the two-legged tie.

Lesotho Football Association (LEFA) Communications and Marketing Manager, Mr. Mikia Kalati, provided further details about the match and the importance of the upcoming fixtures. He confirmed that the reverse fixture will be held on December 28 at the Estadio 11 de Novembro in Luanda, Angola. The winner of this two-legged tie will secure a place in the 2024 CHAN tournament, a highly coveted spot that showcases the continent’s top talent.
