The 2022 Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders is drawing to a close. As our participants get ready to back home, we put a spotlight on Lethola Mokete.
Lethola is a registered chartered accountant who was recently appointed as CEO of the Lesotho Institute of Accountants (LIA). Prior to this, he served as vice president of its board for three years. Lethola is an entrepreneur at heart and is the Managing Director of Lounge City, one of the biggest custom furniture stores in the country, which employs over thirty permanent staff members. In addition to this, he also manages Sky Blue academy, a tutoring business that targets students within the accounting discipline. His vision is to grow both businesses beyond the small-medium enterprise category into sustainable large-scale establishments.
