Keketso Utloang Sello

Honourable Keketso Utloang Sello is a national of the Kingdom of Lesotho born in Maseru District. He holds a Diploma in Motor Mechanics from Iqhayiya Technical College in Port Elizabeth in the Republic of South Africa. He is a member and a Director of various associations including National Funeral Directors Association of South Africa (NFDA).

Mr. Sello is a Managing Director of Lesotho Funeral Services and Director of Humanities Building Construction and Transport and Logistics as well as Director of Humanities Farm and Poultry. He has constructed and build the Local Government offices in Mokhotlong District (Mokhotlong District Administration) and also Constructed Qhoali to Maqokho gravel Road in Quthing District. In farming he is the exporter of wool and mohair and also supplies the local businesses in Leribe with Pork and fresh vegetables. As part of the Cooperate Social Responsibility in the Leribe District has been assisting orphans and the poor from Leribe District through educational sponsorships and bursaries in various schools (Primary, High School and Tertiary Institutions). The total number of his sponsored dependents is twenty two (22). He always assist the Leribe District Administration by burying the destitutes as well as the unknown bodies when need arises. He also assists in burying the members of the communities who cannot afford funeral costs for the loved ones. Every year he celebrates with the vulnerable and deaf children and listens to their daily challenges and assists where possible. He has recently build a house for an old lady living at Ha Kampa in Hlotse constituency.

He was a Candidate of All Basotho Convention (ABC) at Leribe number 13 Constituency for the 2015 National elections and for 2017 elections respectively. He was sworn-in Honourable Minister of Mining on the 23rd June 2017.
