Live like a local in this round house ( rondavel.) Sleep like never before in peace and solitude. The traditional thatched house has a comfy double bed and couch. Shower facilities are outside in a grass clad enclosure adding to the authentic nature of this unique accommodation. There is no mains power in this remote mountain village so we generate our own at dusk and star gaze after 10pm. Experience life as a rural mountain dweller and live in the land that time forgot.
The space
We are one hours drive from the Maseru border gate. On the banks of the river we boast a number of spectacular features and diverse birdlife. Picnic on the sandy rivers edge and enjoy the local way of life. A unique experience.
Other things to note
We are remote but accessed by a family car no 4×4 is required. There is no mains electricity in this remote part of Lesotho we rely on solar power for lights and charging phones etc.
