Lesotho Embassy in Brussels Explores Water Sector Collaboration with BOSAQ

On 02 December 2025, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Lesotho in Brussels, Belgium, held a strategic meeting with BOSAQ Water Technology Company. The meeting was attended by BOSAQ’s sales representative, Mr Anthony Tarigan, and led by H.E. Mrs. Mantoetsi Mohatonyane on behalf of the Embassy.
The discussions focused on potential investment and collaboration opportunities within Lesotho’s water sector. BOSAQ presented its sustainable, decentralized water purification technologies, emphasizing their capacity to enhance water access, improve quality, and strengthen management systems in both rural and urban areas.
The Embassy highlighted Lesotho’s significant water resources while acknowledging challenges in distribution, purification, and infrastructure. Both parties explored areas for cooperation, including the deployment of advanced purification systems, improved water quality monitoring, climate-resilient water management solutions, and capacity-building initiatives for local stakeholders.
The engagement concluded with an agreement to continue technical discussions, aiming to identify practical projects aligned with Lesotho’s national water priorities. This partnership reflects a commitment to advancing sustainable water solutions and supporting the country’s socio-economic development.
