European Union Ambassador Mette Matilda Sunnergren Presents Letters of Credentials to King Letsie III

Her Excellency Ambassador Mette Matilda Sunnergren, Ambassador Designate and Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the Kingdom of Lesotho, officially presented her Letters of Credentials to His Majesty King Letsie III at the Royal Palace today. The ceremony marked the formal start of her diplomatic mission in Lesotho and reaffirmed the strong ties between the European Union and the Kingdom.
Following the presentation, Ambassador Sunnergren paid courtesy visits to the Acting Prime Minister, Honourable Justice Nthomeng Majara, and the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, Honourable Pitso Lesaoana. These engagements provided an opportunity to discuss strategic cooperation and strengthen bilateral relations between Lesotho and the European Union.
