The Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) will be represented by Mr. Mokhosi Mohapi and Technical Director Mr. Caswell Moru at the FIFA Technical Leadership Introductory Workshop for Technical Directors and leadership collaboration with General Secretaries. The event is taking place in Tanzania from August 11.
LeFA Media and Communications Manager, Mr. Mikia Kalati, explained that the workshop is specifically designed to support and prepare new Technical Directors in their roles. It also focuses on embedding leadership principles to strengthen the working relationship between Technical Directors and General Secretaries.
Kalati noted that the workshop will provide an in-depth discussion on the responsibilities and functions of Technical Directors. Participants will receive guidance on prioritizing tasks, implementing strategic plans, and utilizing support programs and services offered by FIFA’s Global Football Development Team.
The workshop aims to equip Technical Directors with the tools and knowledge required to succeed in their roles, enhance football development programs, and improve collaboration at the administrative and technical levels within football associations.
LeFA’s participation underscores the association’s commitment to professional development and alignment with FIFA standards. Attending the workshop will help Lesotho strengthen its football management capabilities and ensure effective implementation of technical strategies for national football growth.
By engaging with peers and FIFA experts, Mr. Mohapi and Mr. Moru are expected to return with practical insights that will benefit LeFA’s technical and leadership structures, ultimately supporting the advancement of football in Lesotho.
