Peacebuilding Fund Monitoring Mission Reviews Community Violence Prevention Efforts in Lesotho

A monitoring mission for the Peacebuilding Fund project titled Supporting Community Driven Violence Prevention and Sustainable Peace in Lesotho has officially begun in Maseru Rural in the area of Mahloenyeng. The mission forms part of ongoing efforts to evaluate how community focused peacebuilding strategies are working across the country. The project focuses on strengthening the ability of local communities to prevent violence and promote long term stability. By supporting local structures and encouraging collaboration between communities and law enforcement, the initiative aims to create safer environments where disputes are resolved peacefully.
