The Qacha’s Nek Wool and Mohair Growers Association (QWMGA) successfully hosted the first session of its wool and mohair show in Qacha’s Nek, marking a significant event for local farmers and the agricultural sector.
Speaking at the event, the District Chairperson of QWMGA, Mr. Mothibeli Maketha, emphasized the importance of the show in fostering a culture of high-quality production in sheep and goat farming. He highlighted that such gatherings play a crucial role in enhancing livestock quality, which in turn boosts the overall standard of wool and mohair production in the region.
Mr. Maketha expressed appreciation for the participation of farmers, stating that their involvement was instrumental in making the event a success.
