Lesotho Football Association Secretary General Attends 2025 FIFA Compliance Summit in Brazil

The Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) Secretary General, Mr. Mokhosi Mohapi, is currently attending the two-day 2025 FIFA Compliance Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The summit, which runs from Thursday to Friday, serves as a vital platform for football governance and compliance.
According to LeFA’s Communications and Media Manager, Mr. Mikia Kalati, this marks the 5th edition of the FIFA Compliance Summit, an event that underscores FIFA’s commitment to promoting good governance and compliance throughout its Member Associations, Confederations, and the football world at large.
Mr. Kalati explained that the summit has brought together experts and practitioners from various sectors of football governance, including representatives from FIFA, Member Associations, and Confederations. The gathering aims to discuss best practices, share knowledge, and explore the latest trends in football governance and compliance.
“This in-person event provides a crucial opportunity for delegates to engage in insightful discussions, which ultimately benefit the broader football community,” Mr. Kalati said. He added that each of FIFA’s 211 Member Associations had been invited to send a delegate responsible for overseeing compliance within their respective associations.
Mr. Mohapi’s participation in this summit highlights LeFA’s dedication to strengthening football governance within Lesotho, as he engages with global experts and learns from international best practices.
