
On Thursday, the National University of Lesotho (NUL) and Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL) took a significant step towards enhancing their collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at an event held in Roma. The MoU was signed by Mrs. Liteboho Maqalika-Lerotholi, the NUL Registrar, and Mrs. ‘Mathabo Mokoko, the Commissioner of RSL, in the presence of NUL Vice Chancellor, Professor Isaac Fajana, along with senior management from both institutions and members of the media.
The MoU is expected to pave the way for stronger cooperation between the two institutions, particularly in areas such as research, knowledge sharing, and capacity building. Both parties expressed their commitment to working together for the mutual benefit of their organizations and the broader Lesotho community.
In his remarks at the event, Professor Isaac Fajana, the Vice Chancellor of NUL, emphasized that the university is proud to be the “university of choice” and a symbol of the nation’s pride. He noted that many individuals who contribute significantly to the country have chosen to enroll at NUL, reinforcing its position as a leading institution in Lesotho.
Prof. Fajana also took the opportunity to acknowledge the university’s long-standing relationship with stakeholders like RSL. He highlighted that NUL has benefited from tremendous support from organizations such as RSL over the years, which has played a pivotal role in advancing the university’s mission of providing quality education and research.
