2022 participants for the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders landed in the U.S. this week to begin their six-week fellowship at various host institutes across the U.S. Over the next weeks, we will highlight these fellows, who will be representing the Mountain Kingdom throughout their stay.
Today we start with Sophy Phohleli who is the General Manager at Tangerine Contactogan, a subsidiary of Citrus Group, a Lesotho born conglomerate with interests in media communications and public relations, healthcare management, funeral services, data management as well as corporate advisory services. In her position, Sophy is responsible for stakeholder relations, recruitment procedures and overseeing the daily functions of the businesses’ activities. She has over 8 years’ experience in customer service, marketing, communications, and the recruitment space.
She will be placed at Wayne State University under the Leadership in Public Management track.
