NUL Library launches Postgraduate Research Commons
NUL Library officially launched the Postgraduate Research Commons on 29th October, 2021 at the Thomas Mofolo Library, Roma campus. The Research Commons is a place to collaborate and connect with fellow students and researchers on research projects. It is a place for workshop and presentation opportunities, and a place to discover what your peers and colleagues are researching. In this space, researchers will receive education and training in library research and application of related technologies to enhance independent information finding.
The Postgraduate Research Commons has been created with the support of two external sponsors: EBSCO and Elsevier. EBSCO mainly supplies us multi-disciplinary electronic databases while Elsevier supplies mainly Science-Direct. NUL is grateful for this support.
The Research Commons includes the availability of laptops (yet to be installed), convenient with WiFi, desks equipped with data/power points and research support. Users are free to bring their own laptops and are responsible for the safe-keeping of their equipment.
