Molumong Lodge: Orange Room

Guest access
Guests can access the kitchen with basic equipment – a cooker, kettle, refrigerator, crockery, cutlery and glassware. Guests can also access the lounge and dining areas.
Other things to note
This is the perfect base for exploring the Maloti mountains through hiking, mountain biking, off road motorbiking and off road 4×4 riding. Hikes and pony rides up the wondrous mountain trails, including Thabana Ntlenyane, the highest peak in Southern Africa, can be arranged. The Senqu river and numerous small streams offer the perfect opportunity for fly fishing in warmer weather.
Nearby attractions include Kotisephola and Khalong-la-lithunya wetlands with an abundance of fauna and flora. The threatened Southern Bald Ibis is a frequent visitor at the Lodge. Cultural tours to nearby caves with San paintings can be arranged. Guests can also experience typical Basotho living through village tours and overnight stays at the Basotho huts in the village. Mouthwatering traditional Basotho cuisine can also be prepared for guests on prior arrangement.
Molumong Lodge is the perfect base from which to access Sani pass, Bokong nature reserve, Katse dam, Menoaneng pass (one of the few passes in Southern Africa over 3000m), Sehonghong, Sehlabathebe Park, Ramatšeliso’s Gate and the Eastern Cape through Lesotho.
