Liatile Putsoa

Liatile Putsoa works as a communications officer at the European Union Delegation in Lesotho, where she develops and implements communications strategies and activities. Before joining the EU, she worked as a legal assistant at the International Criminal Court in The Hague. Liatile has a genuine interest in human rights advocacy and working in international justice has enhanced her interest. She holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Law and Politics from the University of Cape Town, and a master’s in International Relations from Shandong University, China. She is the treasurer of the Maloti Rotary Club, where she is involved in fundraising and organising projects such as providing sustainable water and sanitation systems in local communities. Upon completion of the Fellowship, Liatile plans to use her newly acquired skills to advocate for women to claim their space in seats of power. She strives to become an influential leader shaping policy.
