Thaba Tseka to Launch District Green Fridays Tree Planting

Thaba Tseka will host the launch of the district Green Fridays tree planting initiative on August 28, according to District Coordinator Ms. Mamabitsa Makara.
The event will take place at Ha Ramoliehi in partnership with the village’s Regeneration Coalitions group. Ms. Makara stated that the initiative aims to promote environmental conservation and sustainable community development.
As part of the launch, more than 5,000 fruit trees, including pears and apples, will be planted in Ha Ramoliehi. The project seeks to encourage local participation in greening efforts and to contribute to food security through fruit tree cultivation.
The district Green Fridays program reflects Thaba Tseka’s commitment to environmental stewardship and community-led conservation initiatives.
