Mokhotlong Police Urge Community to Help Combat Stock Theft

Stock theft remains a significant challenge, and the police are working tirelessly to eradicate it with the support of Community Police Forums (CPOs).
This was highlighted by the Mokhotlong Police Commanding Officer from Tlokoeng, Senior Inspector Masoli Khoanyane, during a public gathering with the Semenanyane-Sekiring community on Thursday. The meeting aimed to address the challenges faced by residents regarding stock theft and explore possible solutions.
S/Insp Khoanyane emphasised that the police in Tlokoeng and Thaba Tseka are collaborating to combat crime, which not only affects local communities but also strains relations with neighbouring South Africa.
He urged residents to remain vigilant and cooperate with law enforcement agencies to curb livestock theft, ensuring a safer and more secure environment for all.
