Lesotho Advances Mokhibo Dance Nomination Through UNESCO Heritage Training Initiative

The Ministry of Tourism, Sports, Arts and Culture in Lesotho has taken a decisive step to preserve its cultural identity through an intensive training programme focused on intangible heritage. Working closely with the Lesotho National Commission for UNESCO, officials and cultural practitioners recently concluded Day 3 of the Intangible Cultural Heritage training. This initiative aims to equip participants with the technical knowledge required to prepare a strong nomination for Mokhibo traditional dance.
