Econet Telecom Lesotho (ETL) has embarked on a landmark project to upgrade the Maseru radio access network (RAN) and transport network, signaling a transformative leap in the country’s digital infrastructure. The initial phase of the upgrade, which kicked off in February 2025, has been successfully completed, laying the groundwork for the critical next stages. ETL confirmed that between May 20 and July 30, 2025, key milestones will be reached as the project advances through a carefully planned phased rollout. While minimal service interruptions may occur during this period, the company assures customers that every measure is in place to minimize disruptions and maintain seamless connectivity.
