Qacha’s Nek MP Mr. Mohlahlobi Busa Donates Wheelchair to Disabled Community Member

Qacha’s Nek Member of Parliament, Mr. Mohlahlobi Busa, brought Easter cheer to a local family by donating a wheelchair to a community member living with a disability. The gesture was made as part of his effort to give back to the community during the Easter holidays, a time he said is significant in celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Speaking in an interview with the Agency, Mr. Busa emphasized the importance of supporting those in need. He stated that as elected leaders, it is their responsibility to uplift and assist the communities that entrusted them with leadership. “We are part of this community, and being in leadership is a privilege given to us by the people. It is only right to lend a helping hand whenever possible,” he said.
The recipient of the wheelchair was diagnosed with a bone disability in 2021 and has since relied on family support. Her caregiver, Mrs. Malehloa Moiloa, expressed deep gratitude for the donation, noting the financial strain she has faced. “As someone who is unemployed, it has been very costly and difficult to care for her, but this wheelchair will make a big difference in our daily life,” she said.
The donation has brought renewed hope to the family and highlighted the positive impact of compassionate leadership in local communities.
