Youth Engage in Panel Discussion Ahead of Sebopi UniPOD Launch at Lerotholi Polytechnic
Ahead of the highly anticipated launch of Sebopi, also known as ‘Sesiu sa Libopi’ UniPOD, at Lerotholi Polytechnic (LP) on Friday, young innovators and entrepreneurs participated in a dynamic panel discussion.
Themed “Academia, Industry, and Youth Collaboration in Advancing Research and Innovation,” the discussion brought together youth from various fields, particularly in entrepreneurship, to share insights on innovation and development.
Speaking during the session, Liteboho Tefo, an entrepreneur from SEBABATSO, expressed her excitement about the initiative. As a creative artist specializing in videography and other visual media, she emphasized that the innovation hub will play a crucial role in nurturing young talents and equipping them with the necessary skills to thrive in different industries.
Similarly, ‘Mamotsoko Doris Mohobane, a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) innovator, shared her enthusiasm about the UniPOD. Having had the opportunity to experience Rwanda’s UniPOD, she expressed confidence that this initiative would be instrumental in advancing youth-driven research and innovation in Lesotho.
The Sebopi UniPOD launch at LP is expected to provide a collaborative space for young innovators, academia, and industry professionals to drive research, creativity, and technological advancements in the country.
