Attendees will also examine the impact of the housing sector on community development and explore the integration of modern technology to make housing projects more resilient and sustainable. There will be a particular emphasis on building communities that are not only affordable but also environmentally conscious and socially inclusive.

Paving the Way for Future Developments

The Housing Forum is expected to generate a roadmap for future housing initiatives, with a focus on creating a comprehensive value chain that supports sustainable community development. According to Mrs. Matekane, the event’s outcomes will guide LHLDC’s future projects and influence national policies related to housing and land use.

LHLDC invites all stakeholders to participate and contribute to a dialogue that could shape the future of housing in Lesotho.
