Ms Puleng Lebitsa is the Chairperson of the board of directors of Lesotho Communications Authority (LCA) having been appointed in July 2021
She is a Chartered Accountant by profession with experience spanning for over forty (40) years. She has held key positions in Management, Finance and Accounting at various organisations in Lesotho including Lesotho Institute of Accounts (LIA), Lesotho Flour Mills, Lesotho National Development Corporation, Maluti Skin products, and Royal Lesotho Tapestry Weavers.
Ms Lebitsa is an Assessor of both the Labour Court and Labour Appeal Court and is also a member of the Revenue Appeals Tribunal. She has also held membership in boards of the following organisations; the National AIDS Commission, Council of Higher Education, Nedbank Lesotho, Centre for Accounting Studies, Machabeng College and the Lesotho Agricultural Development Bank to name a few.
Ms Lebitsa holds a Chartered Accountant Degree from the Lesotho Institute of Accountants and a Bachelor of Commerce Accounting Degree (Cum Laude) from the National University of Lesotho. She also received the Gold Presidential Awards for her Ecellence in the Accounting profession in 2011 and 2016 respectively.
Ms Lebitsa is a staunch member of the rotary club of Maseru and a strong member of the Lesotho Evangelical Church of Southern Africa (LECSA) where she serves on a number of panels. Her hobbies include reading, watching television and exercising.
