Mr Lesekelo Makara is a member of the board of directors of the Lesotho Communications Authority (LCA) having been appointed in March 2022.
He is a Human Resources professional with an experience of twenty (20) years in various organisations including Avani Lesotho, Lehlolapula Plant Hire & Civils, Minopex Lesotho, Lets’eng Diamonds, Quadrant Computers and Star Lion Group. He is also currently a board member for Naleli Funeral Planners whereat he is a member of the Human Resource Renumeration and Nomination Committee.
Mr Makara’s achievements to date include being nominated MANCOSA’s Ambassador for Lesotho in 2018, being appointed Head of CSI for both Avani Lesotho and Avani Maseru in 2017, being nominated best HR Leader in the 2018 HR Appreciation Event by Minor Hotels to mention a few.
Mr Makara is currently studying towards a Postgraduate Certificate in International Human Resources Management and Leadership through the Athena Global Education in the United Kingdom. He has a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Human Resource Management from MANCOSA.
