Makotoko is a professional engineer registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa. He brings to Letšeng vast experience in engineering, construction, operations, manufacturing, project management, engineering asset management and mining. He has worked for various reputable companies that include ABB Kvaerner Boving (Muela Hydro Power Station), Barloworld Equipment, Deutz Diesel Power and CBI Electric. His experience also extends to working in various countries that include Mozambique, Zambia, St Helena Island and South Africa. He holds an MSc Engineering in Project Management and a BSc (Hons) in Technology Management from the University of Pretoria and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Johannesburg. He joined Letšeng in July 2021.
