The Authority is aware of allegations circulating in the social media about presence of a Covid-19 case at Lesotho Communications Authority. Contrary to these allegations, the Authority currently has no reported Covid-19 case amongst its staff.
The Authority values the health and well-being of its staff and stakeholders and has instituted some of the highest protocols against Covid-19 in line with national health and World Health Organisation protocols.
The Authority therefore informs the general public that its offices are still open for business. However, in line with protocols of minimizing risks associated with work-related exposure to Covid-19, stakeholders are encouraged to use electronic channels of communication where physical visit to its offices is not absolutely necessary.
Furthermore, members of the public are strongly advised to adhere to Ministry of Health advises on hand hygiene, social distancing and wearing of masks amongst other measures to minimize the impact of Covid-19 in Lesotho.
