Lethola Mokete has more than 10 years of combined experience in running businesses in the retail, manufacturing, financial services, and education sectors. Lethola is a qualified chartered accountant with Lesotho Institute of Accountants membership and is actively involved in advancing the accounting profession in Lesotho. Currently, he is managing director of Lounge City, a custom-made furniture manufacturing and retail business, and Sky Blue Academy, an accounting education tuition provider. Lethola recognizes the challenges brought by high unemployment rates in Lesotho and Africa and is committed to creating businesses that will help solve this problem. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Lethola plans to use the new ideas and knowledge to scale his current businesses and to create new ones to provide good-paying jobs while also contributing to the economic growth of his country.
