Keneuoe Semphi
Keneuoe Semphi has more than six years of experience in disability advocacy. She is the founder and managing director of Information Access Solutions in Lesotho, focusing on equal access to information through translation of printed material into accessible formats for people who are visually impaired. She is currently serving as a United Nations Youth Advisory Panel member, and as the Mastercard Foundation and Association for the Development of Education in Africa’s youth ambassador for secondary education in Africa. Keneuoe holds a bachelor’s degree in Professional Communication. She is a 2016 recipient of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, which she credits with shaping her into an active disability activist and social entrepreneur. She has also benefited from the professional practicum at Tape Aids for the Blind, where she learned how to achieve her long-term goal of ensuring that people with print disabilities have equal access to informational material.
